Real Estate happened as a natural progression in Paula’s life. Her first career was teaching at Comfort Middle School and High School, which provided the skills that are utilized in her Real Estate. Her husband, Randolph, owned a Lumberyard and was interested in building and remodeling. They decided to build a spec house, but of course, her husband was too busy with the lumberyard. She stopped teaching and became the general contractor with her husband’s guidance. They then decided she should get her real estate license to sell the properties they built and remodeled. It was a great start, and after having her license a few years, she decided to get her Broker’s License and start her own company. She started her own business, Paula Bohnert Realty, and from there, people began approaching her to get their licenses.
She had a great team of realtors and decided they should become Comfort Land and Homes. The business was built on knowledge and trust. Now it has been close to 25 years since it began.

Brooke has been a part of the Comfort Land and Homes family for four years. She joined in 2016, and ever since then; she has made buying and selling in the Texas Hill Country her passion. Brooke graduated from Boerne Highschool, following her parent’s footsteps, who both attended Boerne High School as well. Being a lifelong native to Kendall County, she ended up planting her roots here in Comfort.
She enjoys the outdoors, and all the Texas Hill Country has to offer, whether that is hunting, fishing, traveling to Fredericksburg and checking out the wineries, cooking or staying home and spending time with her family and friends.
Growing up with parents who did land development locally and out of state really gave her a deep understanding of preserving the Hill Country while keeping up with the growth. Since her time as a real estate agent, Brooke has learned that every transaction is personal and unique, and what might work for you will not work for everyone. She is dedicated and driven in bringing the very best to her clients each and every day.
